Asparagus in puff
pastry
Ingredients:
bundle of asparagus
puff pastry
egg, flour
salt
Ingredients for the dip
sour cream or plain
yoghurt
scallion
pepper according to
your taste
Procedure
Catch the end and the
middle of each asparagus and break them. You will break a few centimeters, which
are woody. If you will have problems with it, you can cut it off. Peel the
asparagus, cut into quarters and let them cook in salted water. When the water reach
boiling point, let asparagus cook ten minutes and decant them. Leave to cool.
On a floured board roll
the puff pastry and cut it on squares, in which you will package prepared asparagus.
Wipe it with egg and let it bake in the owen for 20 - 30 minutes at 175 °C.
Serve with vegetables
and dip, which you will prepare from chopped spring onion (scallion) with spices
according to your taste and sour cream or plain yoghurt.
