Late Muffins

Yesterday evening I came home and realized that there is nothing on breakfast. So, I thought that I will prepare something easy, what wouldn´t take much time. Muffins. I tried to find the easiest recept on the internet but it was impossible. So many recipes, some of them with ingredients, which I don´t like or have. So I got great idea - I prepared my own recipe and then also muffins. It ended like this:


2 cups of plain flour
2 - 3 eggs
1 cup of powdered sugar
1 baking powder
1 vanilla sugar
1/4 cup of milk
1/4 cup of water
1/4 cup of oil
chocolate pieces


Separate yolks and whites of eggs and whisk egg whites. Mix egg yolks with sugar. Add flour, baking powder, vanilla sugar. Mix only a little. Than add milk, water and oil. Mix enough to get smooth consistency. Gently mix in also whisked egg whites. Add chocolate pieces. Bake in the preheated oven at 175  °C for 20 – 30 minutes.

Arabic bread with cheese 

Arabic bread 
Hard cheese for grating 
Spring onion
salami / ham 


Divide Arabic bread (you can also use two tortillas). Grate on the one of them cheese, cut the salami / ham and spring onion and add pepper. Grate again some cheese. Cover with second pancake. 

Insert the prepared bread in Panini maker. However, you can fry it on a pan with some oil, put it on grill or give it into the oven. Prepare a few minutes until the cheese is melted and serve with vegetables and dip.

Asparagus in puff pastry

bundle of asparagus
puff pastry
egg, flour

Ingredients for the dip
sour cream or plain yoghurt
pepper according to your taste

Catch the end and the middle of each asparagus and break them. You will break a few centimeters, which are woody. If you will have problems with it, you can cut it off. Peel the asparagus, cut into quarters and let them cook in salted water. When the water reach boiling point, let asparagus cook ten minutes and decant them. Leave to cool.

On a floured board roll the puff pastry and cut it on squares, in which you will package prepared asparagus. Wipe it with egg and let it bake in the owen for 20 - 30 minutes at 175 °C.

Serve with vegetables and dip, which you will prepare from chopped spring onion (scallion) with spices according to your taste and sour cream or plain yoghurt.

Zucchini pancakes with cucumber salad

Ingredients for zucchini pancakes
3 medium zucchinis
¼ cup of milk
1 cup of plain flour
2 eggs
salt, pepper

Ingredients for cucumber salad
3 cucumbers
3 Tbsp powdered sugar
6 Tbsp vinegar

Grate the zucchinis on grater and salt them. Wait a moment while zucchinis releas some water and squeeze them. Add eggs, flour, milk and pepper and make dough. Fry pancakes in oil and then let oil drain on a paper towel.

Slice, respectively grate cucumbers and salt them. Wait a moment while cucumbers releas some water but don´t squeeze them or decant this water. Let it stand for a while in a cool place. Mix in a glass vinegar and sugar. If you will have problems with it, add a little juice from cucumbers. Pour into the prepared cucumbers and mix it.

Grilled Camembert


- Camembert (you can also try Hermelin cheese)
- Aluminum Foil
- Oil
- Spice


Take an enough large piece of aluminum foil. Pour in the middle oil and sprinkle spice. In this mixture on each side soak camembert. Subsequently wrap the foil and put it on the grill or grill pan. Broil it on both sides for 5 – 10 minutes. Serve with vegetables.

250 g powdered sugar
90 g   milk chocolate
90 g   dark chocolate
185 g butter
110 g plain flour
3 eggs
- some chocolate on topping, jam

1. Melt both chocolates with butter in a water bath.
2. Separate egg yolks and egg whites, from which you will beat the snow. Before you will start, add in egg whites a pinch of salt, because cream will be more whipped.
3. Mix egg yolks with sugar. Add the chocolate and sifted flour.
4. At the end gently mix in the batter egg snow.
5. Grease the baking sheet with butter and sprinkle it with flour. Pour batter in the baking sheet and let it bake for 20 - 30 minutes in preheated oven on 170 °C. Brownies are done when toothpick or fork, which you will prick in the cake, stay clean.

6. Let Brownies cool down. Cut Brownies lengthwise and spread inside the jam. Give the top of Brownies back and pour the chocolate on Brownies.
